Art Quiz on Monday, March 29th!

Heads up to my 1st- 3rd grade kiddos: We will be having a quiz on Monday to see what you remember from the artists we’ve studied so far this semester!

Brush up on:

• Themes in the works (ex. sorrow, joy, etc.)
• Significance of the works (i.e. Grunewald was the first to portray a suffering Christ.)
• Purpose of the works (Hint, hint: What is an altarpiece for?)
• Artist Bio Factoids (ex. Which artist did illustrations for the Saturday Evening Post?)

Quizzes will be grade-level appropriate and will count for a grade (if not prizes!).
